History

Lago Sofia SpA. is born in the province of Ultima Esperanza in Magallanes around the year 2000, honoring the lake adyacent to Milodon’s Cave in Puerto Natales. Today we have become a company that responds to the engineering development of sustainable food production with a keen sense for recycling. We are pioneers in the development of individual recirculation as well as the incorporation of vegetable production on a commercial basis in our facilities located in the Chanquihue area in Puerto Montt.
